Please suggest a venue

BCB6 planners met on 10th February and we realized that the Barcamp Bangalore community should have a say in where we should have Barcamp Bangalore 6

Minimum Requirements for the venue

• Should be able to accommodate at least 500-700 people.
• Facility for breakfast, lunch, coffee
• 4-5 rooms with capacity to seat at least 50
• Wifi access for Internet
• Person introducing the venue will have to coordinate and ensure the requirements are met.
• How much will it cost?
• Open areas for discussions
• A foyer/auditorium to kick off?

Please try to find a venue thats pretty close to everyone. I just saw the IIIT-B routemap. Its damn far. Electronic City!!! IIM-B was comfortable. Why don't we try that again? Is anyone listening?

How about Tata Auditorium (just opposite to IISC entrance)?

Christ College, Dairy Circle, might be suitable - but I'm not sure of the DATE of the BCB6. March-April is exam time, and thus, will be unavailable. More info : wwww.christcollege.edu

But strongly recommend we go ahead with IIM B. IIT B seems too far, and too congested?

Yes, IIIT-B, has good infrastructure,

• A Main Hall(Seating Capacity 150)
• 4 Rooms (40)
• 2 Rooms(50)
• WiFi Access & Projectors are Available
• Breakfast/lunch/Coffee has to be arranged
• Adigas can be contacted for that
